The four cabinet posts which became vacant with the resignation of Gahal from the coalition government are expected to be distributed among ministers of the Labor Party The Ministry of Transport and Communications is expected to go to Shimon Peres who is now Minister-Without-Portfolio. Finance Minister Pinhas Sapir will probably take over the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Posts are expected to go to Labor Minister Joseph Almogi and Housing Minister Zeev Sharef. but it has not yet been decided which minister will receive which portfolios.
