Yaakov Gilead, director of Magbit, the Israel Appeal in Belgium, has been appointed director of Keren Hayesod for Europe it was announced today. Keren Hayesod, the fund-raising arm of the World Zionist Organization, is active in most Jewish communities outside of North America. Mr. Gilead’s activities will cover all of Western Europe and Scandinavia.
