Bar-on to Meet with Youth Leaders and Educators

Mordechai Bar-On, head of the Youth and Hechalutz Department of the World Zionist Organization in Jerusalem has arrived here for a one-week visit to meet with members of the Board of Trustees of the American Zionist Youth Foundation, American Jewish Youth leaders, and educators, During the meetings here with American Jewish youth leaders and the American Zionist Youth Council, Bar-On is expected to stress the importance of the Youth Mobilization for Israel registration drive which was launched in December in anticipation of the next World Zionist Congress. The Youth Mobilization for Israel hopes to attain a large enrollment so that the forthcoming World Zionist Congress will have a substantial delegation of young people participating in its decisions. In addition to Mordechai Bar-On, the Associate Director of the Youth and Hechalutz Department in Jerusalem, Reuven Agmon, arrived here to finalize arrangements for the 1971 summer programs, sponsored by the American Zionist Youth Foundation, in cooperation with the Youth and Hechalutz Department of the World Zionist Organization in Jerusalem. 4,200 young people from the United States and Canada will spend this summer in Israel on a variety of programs for high school and college students. Mr. Agmon will meet with the shlichim of the Youth and Hechalutz Department and Zionist youth leaders.
