Dr. Sol Stein, executive vice-president of the Israel Histadrut Foundation, announced here this week that another $235,000 in long range commitments had been raised in this area for the Foundation. Addressing the Foundation’s luncheon this week, Dr. Stein said this additional money brings to a cumulative total $2.5 million raised during the last 10 years in this area and that the national total is now at $20.8 million. These commitments, he said, will provide vitally needed future funds for Histadrut’s extensive health, education and welfare programs and institutions in Israel.
