A Conference on Soviet Jewry was formed here this week at a meeting of most of the city’s Jewish groups and congregations, coordinated by the Community Relations Committee of the United Jewish Federation Dr. Bernard A. Poupko, president of the Religious Zionists of America and chairman of the Rabbinical Board of Greater Pittsburgh was elected chairman.
