Prof. Sol Spiegelman, the world famous researcher in the medical fight against cancer and authority in the field of biochemistry, told a meeting of scientists that the United States, India, Sweden and Israel are cooperating in what he termed a silent struggle against the malignant illness. Prof. Spiegelman, who works within the framework of research carried out by Israel, stated that the discovery of a blood virus in cases of breast cancer gave much hope to researchers but added that no one could say when the illness would finally be conquered. “It could happen next week or it could happen in five years,” he said.
