Four Jews walked out of the visa office in Minsk, Belorussia, last Monday after they concluded that they were being trapped into participating in the making of a propaganda film. Jewish sources here reported. The Jews–identified by the surnames Pikulin, Gordin, Puchinski and Paeitlin–were invited to the ovir and received by a Maj. Jurinovich, who questioned them on their reasons for wanting to go to Israel. The Jews noticed that the official’s tape recorder and camera were turned on only when he was speaking, and refused to continue the conversation. After they left, the sources said, the four protested the official’s conduct to the Belorussian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
