The Rav Kook Prize has been awarded to Dr. Daniel Goldschmidt of Jerusalem, formerly librarian at the Prussian State Library in Berlin and from 1936-1962 at the Jewish National and University Library in Jerusalem, for his important contributions to Jewish religious scholarship.
