The Charles Frost Fellowship in Journalism has been established by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, it was announced today by Robert H. Arnow, president of the JTA. The fellowship will be awarded to deserving candidates who have an interest in working in the field of Jewish journalism and have studied the discipline, Arnow said. He added that the fellowship was named for Frost who was nationally known for his activity in Jewish causes and his interest in communicating information and news on Jewish affairs to the world-wide Jewish community. Frost served on the Board of the JTA before his death earlier this year.
