The cultural agreement signed today here by Israel’s Ambassador Emile Najar and Italian Foreign Minister Aldo Moro will serve as a framework for private and official agreements concerning cultural and educational exchanges, sources close to the Ambassador said here today. Among the subjects covered by the new agreement, the first of its kind to be signed between Israel and Italy, is the study of Hebrew in Italy and of Italian in Israel. Students, artists, scientists and academicians will exchange delegations, and cooperation between the two countries in the artistic, educational and scientific fields will be actively encouraged.
