Israeli diplomats today welcomed a criticism of Egyptian policies by President Leopold Senghor of Senegal. Senghor said in an interview with the Agence France Presse that Egyptian policies in the Middle East were not following a useful course. President Senghor headed a mission of the Presidents of four African states who visited Egypt and Israel last fall in an exploration of Middle East peace prospects on behalf of the Organization of African Unity.
