The United States is asking $40 million in aid to Jordan for fiscal 1972-73, beginning July 1, State Department Spokesman Charles Bray said Tuesday. This compares with $45 million for 1971-72. Bray said the US was also seeking $50 million in aid to Israel in 1972-73, the same as the fiscal year ending June 30.
