Hospital and port workers in Israel were being vaccinated today against smallpox following an outbreak of the disease in Yugoslavia, Syria and other Middle East countries. The disease was reportedly carried to Yugoslavia by a Yugoslav Moslem who contracted it while on a pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
