United Nations Secretary General Kurt Waldheim ranks the Middle East problem the most important political situation that must be solved by the UN, Addressing a press conference here today, Waldheim said that UN mediator Gunnar V. Jarring would return to New York at the end of this month from his ambassadorial post in Moscow. “By then we hope to get the answers about the possibility of resuming the Jarring mission” to find a solution to the Middle East conflict, Waldheim said.
