Mrs. Elisabeth Trepper. wife of the World War II master spy. Leopold Trepper, arrived here today in defiance of Polish authorities. Mrs. Trepper was granted a temporary visa in Warsaw earlier this month to visit her son Michael in Copenhagen but was expressly refused permission to go to Israel. She is here to visit her son Edward. The Treppers, who live in Warsaw, have been trying with-out success to get exit visas to emigrate to Israel. Polish authorities have refused Trepper a visa on grounds that he “knows too much.”

Dr. Zerach Warhaftig. Israel’s Minister for Religious Affairs, told the Knesset today that the percentage of Soviet emigres who leave Israel after coming here is highest among those who underwent conversion in Vienna.

The Argentine Airlines will establish service to Israel by next Sept., according to Labor Minister Joseph Almogi who returned to Tel Aviv from a week-long visit to Argentina. Almogi said he learned of the plan from the Argentine Minister of Public works who is in charge of transportation and communication.

Canadian Jewry, which contributed $15 million to Israel last year, was urged to increase its contributions this year to aid absorption needs.
