Israelis face a five percent hike in their electric bills next month. A ministerial committee decided Sunday to raise the rates of the State-owned electric company to meet rising fuel and labor costs. Israel’s electric plants operate entirely on fossil fuels because of the lack of water power in the country, which ups costs.
