Israel and Liberia have signed an agreement several days ago in which each country grants the other full landing rights in their airports. The agreement will enable El Al to open a projected route to South America via Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. The document was signed by the acting minister of commerce and industry of Liberia and Pinhas Rodan, Israel’s Ambassador to Monrovia.
