Reliable sources said today that Israel will postpone opening an Embassy in Saigon until a cease-fire agreement is reached between North and South Vietnam. Israel and South Vietnam announced in Nov. that they were establishing diplomatic relations and would exchange ambassadors very soon The sources noted that Israel’s decision to open a Saigon Embassy was made at a time when a cease-fire agreement seemed imminent. When negotiations between the United States and Hanoi deteriorated last month, Israel decided to postpone the move the sources said.
