Egypt is once again preventing Israel from searching for bodies of Israeli soldiers killed in the Yom Kippur War. The teams of army chaplains who have been going into Egyptian-held territory in search of the bodies, were prevented from entering yesterday. Gen. S. Gidron, chief of the manpower division of the Israeli army, met with Egyptian Gen. Majoub on the problem but was presented with unacceptable demands in return for allowing the search to continue for the 74 bodies still missing. Israel plans to continue seeking permission. During the cease-fire negotiations Egypt promised it would not demand anything in return for permission to carry out the searches.
