Work will begin within two weeks on a regional center designed to serve the Golan kibbutzim, the Jewish National Fund spokesman announced Monday. The JNF is to prepare the ground and infrastructure for the center, situated between Merom Hagolan and Kuneitra. It will serve as an agricultural center for the kibbutzim chiefly in the north of the Golan. The first facility to be completed will be a huge fruit cold storage plant.
There will be no Bulletin Sept. 2, Labor Day.
