Visitors to the Kennedy, Memorial near Jerusalem will be able to stop nearby at a new picnic site being prepared by the Jewish National Fund. The site will include rustic benches and tables, water facilities and shaded eating areas. It will be close to the impressive stone and metal memorial–but far enough away not to pollute the area, a JNF spokesman said.

A new JNF camping site was opened this week by JNF Chairman, Jacob Tsur in the Golan near Banias. The site is set in a nature reserve shaded by oak trees hundreds of years old and over four yards in diameter. It is named in memory of Nahman Alexandron, past head of the JNF land reclamation division.
