The observance will coincide with the 300th anniversary of the first Jewish newspaper in Amsterdam. Their will be organized exhibits of Jewish newspapers in an attempt to attract youth to them. A special committee was also set up to deal with professional matters such as improving newspapers and bringing younger people into Jewish Journalism.
