A commission of enquiry has been formed to investigate Nazi war crimes in Poland, according to a Warsaw radio broadcast monitored here. The commission, chaired by a Prof. Plichovsky, determined at its first meeting that 6,028,000 Polish citizens were killed by Nazis during World War II. Of the victims, 5,450,000 died in concentration camps. The purpose of the commission is to study whether to claim reparations from West Germany, the broadcast said.
