Max M. Fisher, who met last weekend with Israeli Premier Yitzhak Rabin and top Jewish Agency officials in Jerusalem and reportedly conveyed his impression that President Ford and Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger believe there is room for another American effort on an Israel-Egypt pact before the Geneva conference reconvenes, saw Ford yesterday shortly after his return from Israel.

A White House spokesman said yesterday Fisher made a private and personal visit to Israel and that he neither carried a letter from Ford to Rabin nor did he bring back a letter from the Premier to the President. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency made several attempts in Jerusalem and Washington to reach Fisher for comment but he could not be reached there nor in his Detroit office.
