Sendor Levenzon, a plumber of Benderi, who was arrested March 5, will be tried on May 27, the Greater New York Conference on Soviet Jewry reported today. Levenzon is charged with “systematic speculation of currency,” and faces a maximum seven-year jail sentence, According to the GNY CSJ, his lawyer has not been allowed access to his file.
