The Task Force on Jews in Arab countries of the Jewish Community Council of Metropolitan Boston and rabbinic leaders in the Boston area have called upon the Jewish community to join in the national movement to observe the fast day of Tisha B’Av (July 17) as a day of concern for the 4600 Syrian Jews.
