President Luis Echeverria ratified his promise given to Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasir Arafat to permit the PLO to open an information office in Mexico’s capital. The ratification of his promise came during a meeting here yesterday with a PLO delegation led by the head of its political department, Farouk Kaddumi. Echeverria originally made his promise to Arafat when he met him during his Mideast trip last month prior to visiting Israel. Meanwhile, the Haifa Folklore, Ballet arrived here to present several performances. The group is here as guest of President and Mrs. Echeverria who invited them during their visit to Israel.
