Herzog, Goldberg to Be Honored

Chaim Herzog, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, and Arthur Goldberg, former U.S. Supreme Court Justice and Ambassador to the UN, will be inducted as Fellows in the Jewish Academy of Arts and Sciences at a special convocation here May 2. The convocation, marking the 50th anniversary of the Academy’s founding and the nation’s bicentennial, will be held at Dropsie University.

Goldberg and Herzog are being honored in recognition of their contributions and accomplishments in world affairs. They will be among many famous Jewish personalities made Fellows of the Academy during the past half century. These include the late Albert Einstein, the late Justice Felix Frankfurter, historian Dr. Salo W. Baron and concert violinist Isaac Stern.
