A committee of Yad Vashem has been created in Switzerland to support Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and propose new ideas and programs adapted to the conditions in this country. The aim is to keep alive the memory of the Holocaust and the Jewish resistance . The committee was set up by representatives of the natural and youth departments of the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities and members of the rabbinical and teachers associations.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
