A Swedish film crew has completed shooting Jewish National Fund projects in the Negev for a film on a forestation in barren territory. The crew photographed plantations on sand dunes, “green belts” around new settlements, groves planted to protect vegetation from wind, plantations at the edges of ravines to prevent floods. The film will be a comparative study of similar projects in India, the U.S., Italy and Israel.
