Rabbi Meir Just, 64, was installed as the Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi for the Amsterdam region Sunday night at the Aaron Schuster Synagogue, named for his predecessor who retired four years ago and settled in Israel Rabbi Just has been rabbi of the Amsterdam Ashkenazic Congregation since 1963.
