The national commander of the Jewish War Veterans, Dr. Robert Shor of Los Angeles, today urged its membership to “carefully consider decisions” on the purchase of French goods and services.

His action was the result of a referendum of the JWV’s national policy committee that stemmed from the French government’s release of the Palestinian terrorist Abu Daoud, a JWV aide said. “All echelons are urged seriously to consider revising any travel plans to France or any of her territories and to give careful consideration before purchasing French goods and services,” the aide said.

Shor stated: “If the French government cannot see their cooperation and active participation is necessary in order to bring international terrorists to justice, then we, as Americans must make an impact via French goods and services.”
