The first United Jewish Appeal National Shabbat–underscoring the interrelationship between synagogues and the American Jewish community’s UJA/Federation campaigns–will take place March 19. UJA general chairman Frank R. Lautenberg announced. Orthodox, Conservative and Reform congregations will participate in the Shabbat, sponsored by the UJA Rabbinical Advisory Council.
