Mark Turkow, executive director of the Latin American branch of the World Jewish Congress for 25 years and a founder of the WJC since its prepatory meetings in 1941, announced his retirement Thursday at the concluding session of the WJC General Council meeting here. Turkow was named a member of the Council.
