Alexander Roisman, a leading refusnik from Novosibirsk, has received permission to emigrate to Israel, the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry and the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews reported. The 50-year-old mechanical engineer had been campaigning for five years to leave the USSR.
There will be no Bulletin dated January 2, New Year’s Day, a postal holiday.
