Several Katyusha rockets were fired at Israeli villages in Upper Galilee this morning. There were no casualties but electric power lines were damaged. The rockets were fired from terrorist-held territory north of the Litani River.

Terrorists shelled the Christian villages of Kle’s and Mari Ayoun last night. The Christian militia returned the fire. Meanwhile, Israeli forces were preparing for the second stage of their pull-back in south Lebanon which begins tomorrow in the central sector of the front. A Nepalese battalion will police the evacuated area but until it arrives Norwegian and Iranian troops will take over from Israeli soldiers.
