An estimated 800 Rhode Island Christians and Jews pledged Monday night that the Holocaust will never happen again and that “Jews shall never again stand alone.” They were participants in a program entitled “An Expression of Christian-Jewish Solidarity: Renumbering the Holocaust,” held in the Rotunda of the Rhode Island State House. This service, the first of its kind in Rhode Island, was coordinated by the National Conference of Christians and Jews, in cooperation with the Jewish Federation of Rhode Island.
