An exhibit of 13 Israeli artists opened Tuesday in Lausanne in the Galerie de Bourg. The organizer is Zacharya Eliraz, an art dealer from Beersheba. Mayor Eliyahu Navi of Beersheba phoned during the opening of the exhibit to express his town’s best wishes to the people of Lausanne present at the opening. Yaakov Shimoni, Israel’s Ambassador to Switzerland, formally opened the exhibition which was attended by the Chief Rabbi and leaders of the Jewish community.
