Israel and the Scandinavian countries have concluded negotiations on tax reduction in the framework of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).
Finland will cut taxes on Israeli citrus by 50% and on citrus juices by 40%, Norway promised to allow for more turkey meat to be imported from Israel. It will be four times more, which amounts to 20 tons instead of five tons. Sweden will permit special tariff reduction on flowers according to the seasons.
