Moscow activist Trina Gildengorn and her husband Bronislav Lainer, who have been refused exit visas since 1974, have now been promised visas to Israel and expect to leave within the next two months, it was reported by the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry and the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews. Ms. Gildengorn is the leader of the women’s group of Moscow refines who have staged numerous demonstrations and sit-ins at the Kremlin during the last 18 months.
