Israeli Defense Minister Ezer Weizman said late Monday afternoon that all military aspects of the Egypt-Israel peace treaty have been settled to Israel’s satisfaction. Speaking to reporters after meeting with Defense Secretary Harold Brown, Weizman said the U.S. has agreed to provide Israel with $3 billion to aid its withdrawal from Sinai. Of this, he said, $ 2.2 billion would be loans and $800 million in grants.
