A memorial to be dedicated in Brussels for Jewish heroes killed during World War II in resistance activities against the Nazis will take place May 6 under the patronage of the King of Belgium, it was announced Monday. The names of 242 men and women will be inscribed on the memorial to 24,000 Belgian Jews who perished during the Nazi occupation. The committee in charge of the event intends to disseminate information about the Jewish resistance to the Nazis. It has published a 60-page brochure describing the Jewish resistance movement in Belgium.
