Twenty-three influential Black and Jewish members of the Pittsburgh community are leaving Wednesday night from Kennedy International Airport in New York to Israel on an 11-day study mission to get a first-hand knowledge of Israel’s foreign policy and security considerations, it was announced here by Michael Bierman, Pittsburgh Community Relations Committee director. The delegation includes leaders of the city’s NAACP, Urban League, Black Catholic Ministries and Layman’s Association, Roman Catholic Diocese, educators, business leaders and lawyers.
