A Chicago-based rabbi, D.M. Lieberman, has been named Chief Rabbi of Antwerp. He will arrive in Belgium to assume his post early next year. A new synagogue has been set up in Antwerp by the Bobov Hasidim. Over 100 Bobover live in Antwerp where they form one of the city’s most active communities.
