Lean Dulzin, chairman of the World Zionist Organization and Jewish Agency Executives, condemned the United Nations General Assembly resolution that declared the Camp David agreements invalid. “It is ironic,” he said, “that the UN resolution declaring as void those agreements that now pave the way to peace between Israel and Egypt was passed on the very day (Nov. 29) when 32 years ago, the UN recognized the right of the Jewish people to its own state.”

Dulzin charged that the resolution was “motivated by cynicism and belligerence, the same atmosphere that led to the UN resolution equating Zionism with racism.” He said that “at a time when the Mideast is confronted by the dangers of extremism and belligerence, the path taken by Israel, Egypt and the United States is the only basis for peace and stability in the region.”
