The new Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan zoological center inaugurated last week in a 250-acre area between the two towns has been described as “unique in the world in its entertainment and educational aspects.” Over 1,000 animals transferred from the old overcrowded and small zoo in Tel Aviv to the spacious grounds of the Ramat Gan safari park have readjusted well to their new surroundings, officials say.
