Legislation to rescind the Most Favored Nation status for Rumania, House Resolution No. 521, introduced by Rep. Robert Dornan (R. Cal.), went to the floor of the House several days ago. However, the Representatives decided to postpone voting on this bill indefinitely, thus automatically continuing MFN status for Rumania as well as for the People’s Republic of China and Hungary for another full year.
