Premier Menachem Begin, sitting shiva for his wife Aliza at his home in Jerusalem this week, has received a warm condolence message from President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and Foreign Minister Kamal Hassan Ali. The message was delivered by a special emissary this morning.
Condolence cables have also arrived from President Francois Mitterrand of France, Chancellor Helmut Kohi of West Germany and President Sese Seko Mobutu of Zaire, among others. Deputy Premier Simcha Ehrlich is continuing to fill in for the Premier until after the week of mourning.
