JERUSALEM (Apr. 5)
The Jewish National Fund has been working overtime during the pre-Passover period to prepare its parks and recreation sites for mass visits during the holiday period.
In an announcement to the Israeli public, the JNF said this year’s mild winter and early spring meant the forests and glades were looking their best at this time of year, with an abundance of flowers in full bloom.
JNF said it expects “tens of thousands of Israelis” to make use of its facilities during Passover, and exhorted the public to look after the parks and keep them clean.
