Immigration fell sharply in June when only 896 olim arrived representing a 22 percent drop from May and a 36 percent decline compared to June, 1983, the Absorption Ministry reported Monday. The largest single group-219- came from the U.S. There were 167 from Rumania, 83 from France, 52 from Britain, 44 from Argentina and 119 from all of Africa. Only 24 immigrants arrived from the Soviet Union.
